Dandelion James Releases New Single ‘He Said She Said’

DANDELION JAMES is the Cheshire-based alt indie rocker who mixes Americana vibes with bluesy rock creating fresh and exciting music that sets him apart from his peers.

With repeated praise and plays from the likes of BBC INTRODUCING and RMG Magazine who said of Dandelion James’ music that it is “mature, experienced and full of emotion.”

Dandelion James is joined on this track by his session musician band being Charlie on Bass, Alex on Drums and Joe on Keys.

Together the four piece band have created  a unique and altogether unexpected rock style anthem which really showcases James’ emotive vocal prowess that works so well with the alt americana/blues style of music.

The range of James’ vocals works so well with his chosen style reaching interesting highs and lows to perfectly  fit the mood that the lyrics are portraying.

Musically the track starts off with a slow guitar intro and a delicate smattering of drums before the grit and determination comes forth with those powerful vocals.

The track is allowed to play out with the instrumentals taking a back seat, really allowing that incredible voice to shine out adding to the overall intensity that the track is portraying.

Dandelion James has said of the track:-

“He said she said, is literally about being in a relationship and I’m pretty sure everyone in their life has had arguments in their relationship and sometimes it’s better to get it all out.”

“He Said She Said” was written and composed by Dandelion James and was recorded at The Big Red Studio in Macclesfield. The track was Mixed and Produced by Jake Evans.

The Fods Release New Album ‘Don’t ARgue’

The Don’t ARgue project is complete, seven songs in seven styles which have been years in the making.

Don’t ARgue were a student band in a leafy Cheshire town in the mid 90s who had put some songs together, played a few gigs, won a battle of the bands and went their separate ways, fast forward to today and The Fods have spent the last 15 months revisiting what went down in the 90s and rebuilt these songs using some incredible indie talent. Several protagonists from our native North West England have been involved, along with talent from Scotland, the North East and the South West of the UK, together with contributions from New York, New Jersey and Toronto in the Americas.

With a collaborative approach, each song has its own individual vibe, but being underpinned by The Fods distinctive guitar-forward sound. An eclectic mix of songs keep the listener intrigued from beginning to end. A must listen album.
