Three piece Scottish band, The Named Drivers released their highly anticipated album, “Fire and Theft.” The album was recorded between November and December 2024 in a tiny studio near Edinburgh. All 12 tracks were written by The Named Drivers.
The Named Drivers is a collaboration between Craig Arnot, Alan Grierson and Craig Higgins who hail from the same town in Scotland close to Edinburgh and have played music on and off together since 1995.
This album is the follow up to last year’s well received album “Modern Technology”, and goes for a more mature and layered sound showcasing the band’s musical abilities and range of songwriting.
The lead single, “Different” dropped earlier in January and has been well received with lots of radio play and views on YouTube.
“Fire and the Theft” was self produced by The Named Drivers and the album artwork was crafted by the talented Dan Moody which adds a visual element and theme to the music’s essence.
Fire and Theft is out now on all streaming platforms.
