Indie Revolution Single Of The Week – Hazy Sundays ‘Get Some’

Indie Revolution’s Single Of The Week goes to Hazy Sundays with their great new track ‘Get Some’.

After the summer release of the bands debut EP ‘Give Me Some Dopamine’, Hazy Sundays return with a brand new single recorded at Gorbals Sound Studios in Glasgow, ‘Get Some’. The track is a triumphant return with the band sounding sonically better than ever before.

‘Get Some’ starts with an infectious guitar riff and building with some powerhouse drumming the song comes to life before giving you time to breathe in the verses before lifting again in the choruses. Singer Shaun Kenny sings the chorus about “Old time rock n roll” and the songs sound pings back to a time where guitar music fans would have their hands around their mates bouncing about. The song builds to a finishing chorus that comes to a crushing crescendo as the song soars to its peak before finishing on the four minute mark. A real indie-rock banger filled with pure nostalgia.

Hazy Sundays are a four-piece rock band from Glasgow, Scotland, formed in Late 2022. The band has been making waves on the indie scene since starting off and in their first year together released eight singles.
Hazy Sundays play fast-paced, energetic music but also show a softer side with some slower, acoustic songs.

The band have been gigging relentlessly in the first year together and have supported the likes of Reverend and the Makers, and played alongside John Power (Cast) Shambolics, Chris Helme (The seahorses) and Bez (Happy Mondays) Had radio play and featured on John Kennedy’s X-posure radio X show.

‘Get Some’ is out now across all major streaming platforms.
