Mini Milk is the stunning new EP from London-based four-piece rock and blues, band The Milk Men, a supergroup made up of the cream of UK blues rock talent that is fast becoming one of the most popular bands on the UK’s grass roots rock circuit.
The Mini Milk EP is a collection of five of the most popular Milk Men songs; remixed, remastered, radio-edited and now re-released in time for the band’s busy Summer festival season.
The first track from the EP to be released as a single is Little Miss Attention, from 2020’s Deliverance.
“We felt that it was time to reintroduce some of our older songs to our newer fans”, says guitarist Adam. “And with a busy festival season ahead, this was the perfect promo package to put together, and gave us a chance to remix some of our favourite tracks and present them in a really fresh, radio-friendly new light”.
Little Miss Attention was an obvious choice for the first single says singer Jamie. “As soon as we finished Deliverance in 2020 the country went into lockdown, so we were unable to gig the album and support the songs properly. Although Little Miss Attention got lots of support online and helped build our fanbase on social media, we were frustrated as we felt it deserved to be heard more…this EP gives us the chance to put that right”.
Also, on the EP are live favourites She Don’t Like Rock’n’roll from the band’s debut album Full Phat, Shoot The Lights from their second album Gold Top, Adelaide from last year’s Spin The Bottle, and the insanely catchy live favourite The Operator, also from Gold Top.
With the Mini Milk EP, all the band’s talents come together to create a perfect pint-sized collection of all that makes The Milk Men so popular. That’s a big statement, especially as their second album Gold Top was hailed by many as a blues rock classic, and Deliverance reached the national Top 40 and got to number #9 on the UK Blues Chart. Spin The Bottle prompted Blues in Britain magazine to call the band “the country’s finest rockin’ rhythm ’n’ blues band”.
The band’s philosophy is to deliver quality music, on stage and off, whilst letting people know they are having fun. That infectious attitude is all over the Mini Milk EP from the big beats of first single Little Miss Attention, to the classic driving rock’n’roll of She Don’t Like Rock’n’roll. The band wears their influences on their sleeve, then rolls them up and gets on with delivering music and a live show that is somehow completely unique and unforgettable.
