The Kaves Release New Single ‘Complacency’

Glasgow band The Kaves have gone from strength to strength and are ready to release the lead single ‘Complacency’ from their upcoming debut EP. After being approached by Al Groves (Bring me the Horizon, STONE, The Sherlocks), The Kaves recorded the track at Liverpool’s famous Motor Museum.

The Glaswegians deliver an alternative anthem full of attack whilst also maintaining an ability to
create memorable melodies which combine with guitar riffs in a chaotically beautiful way.
The Kaves will be heading on the road, showcasing their debut EP in the autumn with
shows in Manchester, London, Glasgow and Edinburgh set to be announced alongside the EP.

Lead singer Dave MacDiarmid has said of the single: “Complacency is about realising that the important
things in life need to be nourished and worked on. Resting or being overly comfortable in situations
without gratitude can often lead to regret later down the line. Complacency is a reminder that if you rest on
your laurels you might look back and wish you’d cherished those moments more to keep them from withering away.”

‘Complacency’ it out now across all streaming platforms!
