After 20 years together the band still always capture their fans hearts with their releases and always have the magical ability to put a smile on your face. They collaborate and feature with other great artists with an announcement later in the summer of an iconic guest.
Diving is a song about that summer when your about 15/16 and the memories conjure up a unique feeling, discovering lots of first time experiences and the world seems scary but exhilarating, as if your diving off a cliff.
“Calon”, aka Adam Lewis, is a singer songwriter originally from South-West Wales. Now based in London, he has been pursuing live music ranging from open mics, to performing at larger venues such as The Troubadour and The Bedford, becoming a “rising star of the London Folk Scene”. Calon has previously supported acts such as The Heavy Heavy, Sans Soucis, Neev and Anna Nokomis.
“A jazzy welsh wizard – a guaranteed great live show” Tom Bright
‘Matryoshka’ is his 5th single release; inspired by the ending of a momentary relationship, the track explores the reminiscences of a lover wanting to move on, but struggling to do so as he reflects. It is a sobering look on a love that once was, but also the kind of love that teaches us a lot about who we were and who we can be.
Mini Milk is the stunning new EP from London-based four-piece rock and blues, band The Milk Men, a supergroup made up of the cream of UK blues rock talentthat is fast becoming one of the most popular bands on the UK’s grass roots rock circuit.
The Mini Milk EP is a collection of five of the most popular Milk Men songs; remixed, remastered, radio-edited and now re-released in time for the band’s busy Summer festival season. The first track from the EP to be released as a single is Little Miss Attention, from 2020’s Deliverance.
“We felt that it was time to reintroduce some of our older songs to our newer fans”, says guitarist Adam. “And with a busy festival season ahead, this was the perfect promo package to put together, and gave us a chance to remix some of our favourite tracks and present them in a really fresh, radio-friendly new light”.
Little Miss Attention was an obvious choice for the first single says singer Jamie. “As soon as we finished Deliverance in 2020 the country went into lockdown, so we were unable to gig the album and support the songs properly. Although Little Miss Attention got lots of support online and helped build our fanbase on social media, we were frustrated as we felt it deserved to be heard more…this EP gives us the chance to put that right”.
Also, on the EP are live favourites She Don’t Like Rock’n’roll from the band’s debut album Full Phat, Shoot The Lights from their second album Gold Top, Adelaide from last year’s Spin The Bottle, and the insanely catchy live favourite The Operator, also from Gold Top.
With the Mini Milk EP, all the band’s talents come together to create a perfect pint-sized collection of all that makes The Milk Men so popular. That’s a big statement, especially as their second album Gold Top was hailed by many as a blues rock classic, and Deliverance reached the national Top 40 and got to number #9 on the UK Blues Chart. Spin The Bottle prompted Blues in Britain magazine to call the band “the country’s finest rockin’ rhythm ’n’ blues band”.
The band’s philosophy is to deliver quality music, on stage and off, whilst letting people know they are having fun. That infectious attitude is all over the Mini Milk EP from the big beats of first single Little Miss Attention, to the classic driving rock’n’roll of She Don’t Like Rock’n’roll. The band wears their influences on their sleeve, then rolls them up and gets on with delivering music and a live show that is somehow completely unique and unforgettable.
Pssst. Are you looking for a new anthem? Something emotive and a little sentimental? Something that talks directly to you about good times with your squad? Well, look no further. Abbey Moon have got you covered.
‘Friends of Mine’ is the debut single from Abbey Moon, it’s a bit mod, nicely melodic, hooky AF, beautifully lyrical and is going to be getting the dial set to sun, fun and good times with good mates as summer is on its way!
Abbey Moon are a four piece from London, (three from Essex), each of the members have been in bands before, with two members coming from Cavalcade and two members being formerly in Sister Ray. But the guys have come together to form this whole new entity, just like when all the Power Rangers come together to form Megazord! Niall, Mick, Jack and Marco have combined, and just like Megazord, they are even more powerful and ready to battle the really big aliens and monsters. But that doesn’t explain how a debut single can be this good. There is definitely that little sprinkling of something special over the top, just a little ‘something something’ that elevates the single. The writing is superb, it is poetic yet relatable, talking about real life stuff we can all relate to. Friends of Mine was recorded with Michael Smith from RYP recordings who also has a bit of previous, working with the likes of Low Girl, Anteros, Wolf Alice and Elvis Costello. So, I guess, all of the key elements are here.
Previous experience in quality bands, adds up to a brilliant sound. Having this previous experience in bands goes part way to explaining how Abbey Moon have formed up Megazord style, each member bringing their individual Power Ranger abilities to produce this exceptional debut single, but I can’t wait to watch the Abbey Moon saga unfold, to see what’s next. I strongly suggest you get the song on your playlist, learn the words, and get ready to sing ‘Friends Of Mine’ at the top of your lungs this summer, hanging on to the mates that you only get to see at gigs and festivals, remembering the mates that can’t be there. Celebrating the best days, the best soundtrack, making the best memories. You don’t want to be the only one not singing along to this anthem!
Friends of Mine is available to stream now!

MIKE STOYANOV is a London based rising indie singer/songwriter who, bluntly speaking, knows how to put a banger of a tune together!
The music he makes is a homage to proper good old fashioned rock and roll. Mike’s aim is simple, he makes music to make people feel alive. By combining influences from the likes of Oasis, The Strokes and The Libertines, Mike creates a powerful explosion of raw energy that will make you want to jump around in wild abandonment and sing along at the top of your lungs.
As Mike himself puts it: “my sound just punches you in the face man, and forces you to submit.”
Mike’s debut single “Star” was released in February 2021 and has been described as “alternative rock with ALL CAPS ON” (ArtistRack) and “the first song you should play when you wake up” (The Sounds Won’t Stop).
The follow up single “No Regrets’ brought with it more of that loud, punchy and unapologetic rock n roll sound for which Mike is becoming known. The opening line of the track is a statement of what to expect as Mike announces: “I don’t know what it means to give up, if I get going I just won’t stop”
2022 saw Mike supporting British rock legends Toploader at the O2 Academy Islington and releasing his third and fourth singles “One Night Stand” and ‘Everything You Ever Wanted’ which both respectively received great feedback from radio and press alike across the globe.
Mike is now back with his latest offering in the form of his fifth solo single release ‘On My Side’’.
This new release sees Mike upping his game once more as he further cements the notion that he is a name to be taken seriously and one not to be forgotten.
‘On My Side’ is an almost instantly recognisable track from its opening strumming electric guitars through to its indie inspired melody. The vocals are a pure gravelly rock and roll joy to behold as the chorus hook is belted out “Are you even on my side baby?” mix in some rhythmic drum beats and a blistering guitar solo half way through and you’ve got a proper belter on your hands; this really could be a contender for one of the top tracks of the year!
Mike has said of the inspiration behind the track:
““On My Side” is a song about a girl that likes to play games with your heart. She’s hot then she’s cold, she would make you feel like you’re the one then she’ll act like you’re no one. Sometimes she drives you mad and sometimes you hate her but most of the time you just can’t help falling in love with her.”
‘On My Side’ was Recorded at Buffalo Studios, London and was Mixed and Produced by JB Pilon and was Mastered by John Davis at Metropolis Studios, London.
LONDON GHOST are the 4 piece alternative rock n roll band born and raised on the streets of London’s illustrious and culturally diverse Ladbroke Grove. The band is made up of Edd Whyte on Vocals and Guitar, Mike Serapinas on Piano and Synth, Tikz on Bass Guitar and Sid on Drums. Although this is the standard line-up, don’t be surprised to find many other creative artists and musicians collaborating with London Ghost, especially when performing live!
The band were formed in 2019 when they released their debut single ‘Moonlight’. The single ‘Control’ followed in the same year and then ‘Ladbroke Grove’ and ‘Spit Fire’ were released in 2021 and most recently the hit single ‘West London Jungle’ in September 2022.
Although still relatively new as a band, LONDON GHOST have acquired themselves somewhat of a cult following with multiple sold out gigs and streaming figures in the region of 100k on Spotify alone as well as praise from high end press such as Katie Jones from VIPER Magazine who described the band as ‘Fresh talented rock ‘n’ roll magic’.
LONDON GHOST are now back with their most exciting release to date in the form of the somewhat eerily yet decidedly delicious track ‘Phoenix’.
‘Phoenix’ starts off with an almost haunting, melancholy air to it. Edd’s vocals ring out with crisp and clear precision setting the tone from the get-go. Things take on an interesting turn of events when the use of synths is introduced giving the track a uniquely different perspective in dimension and diversity. It’s not immediately expected, but it’s something that works so well. The chorus hooks are rousing and you can almost picture the notion of a phoenix rising. This is a track telling a story; a story about acknowledging the low points in life and turning them around and rising out of the debris and chaos that once was to fight the good fight for self preservation.
Indeed Edd has said of the track:
“The lyrics are inspired by a little bit of loneliness, a little bit of current events and a little bit of a desire to break out of a negative place, but ultimately it’s about perseverance because (to use a cliche) that’s the only thing you can do in life – stay positive and keep going. The music is eerie and enchanting with shades of Lil Nas X, Gorillaz, with powerful, heartfelt and dynamic vocals with a little reminiscence of Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) and Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)”.
‘Phoenix’ was written by Edd Whyte, was recorded in Camden London and produced by Mike Serapinas and Edd Whyte.
Mango In Euphoria is the new flamboyant dirty dark disco act born on the punk London scene. From Camden Town or Hackney iconic venues, to recently the Portsmouth IceBreaker Festival 2023 that put her on the front page of the news thanks to an « electrifying set », the queer artist who doesn’t hesitate to perform with tape and stars on her nipples almost has the (under)world in her hands.
Her music is the story of a torn individual trying to stay happy in the worst moments of her life, which explains a chosen dystopian drive sprinkled with a glitter bomb aesthetic… A mind blowing universe that brings you real life feelings with a party on stage.
‘Good Bad Influence’ is the tense and deliberate new single from the hotly tipped London band Come at The King. This new single is destined to catapult the band to newer heights after already enjoying success with previous singles ‘The Chase’ and ‘It’s A Good Life’.
Come At The King (CATK) are a rock and roll three-piece from London, drawing influence from the blues-infused sounds of the early 00’s garage rock revival (The White Stripes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Vines, Kings of Leon. Blended with the big riffs, hooking choruses and solos, the band’s attitude and swagger is reminiscent of the mid 90’s Britpop scene (Oasis, The Stone Roses,The Charlatans). With an energetic, no-nonsense, memorable performance style that gains acclaim whenever they play. CATK has been described perfectly as “gloriously filthy rock and roll.”
London’s three-piece indie, grunge, psych rock band consists of Danny Collins, (Vocals/Guitar) Aaron Forde, (Vocals/Bass) and ex-Babyshambles drummer Gemma Clarke (Drums).
Following on from their EP ‘Stuck In A Video’ JW Paris release their cover of Chris Issaks ‘Wicked Game’ in time for Valentines Day. With Nirvana vibes from the outset and plenty of energy throughout, this is definitely a cover that stands out from the other hundreds of versions of ‘Wicked Game’. A great combination of Chris Isaak and Kurt Cobain.
Of the song JW Paris say:
“As most of us have been through chaotic relationships, this song spoke to us in the same way. Soaked in misery but ultimately drenched in love. We have had it sitting in our locker for years now and felt it time to release it into the wild, and I guess there’s no better time to do so than Valentines.
We coincided the release with the #CoversForLovers campaign on TikTok and the video features lovers from all walks of life.
Wicked Game is the closest JW Paris get to a love song and it’s not even ours.”
JW Paris have been played and supported by BBC Radio 1, Radio X, BBC 6 Music, Absolute Radio and more. The band have an exciting year ahead of them on the road with plans to grace the festival stages.
Upcoming Gigs

JACOBY are the London based 5 piece psychedelic rock band consisting of Tommy Overington on lead vocals, Vincent Esteve on Guitars, Alex Combe on Bass guitar, Jess Rozman on Keyboardas and backing vocals and Greg Edwards on Drums.
JACOBY who formed in 2020 took inspiration for their name from the cult TV series character. They are a psych drenched rock n roll band imagined out of its members collective dreams. All five members of this band have come together bringing a unique skill and dimension to the group resulting in something that is so fresh and exciting, it’ll blow your mind.
Being no strangers to the live circuit however, the band have enjoyed sold out gigs in their own right at the likes of such renowned venues as the Amersham Arms in London, the Rocksteady in Dalston, The Beehive and The Fiddlers Elbow all in the countries capital and they’ve also performed at Gabefest and the International Pop Overthrow Festival at the Cavern Club in Liverpool.
The band’s debut single ‘Freedom Ain’t No Sin’ was released in December 2022 receiving praise and airplay from the likes of BBC 6 Music and although still gaining momentum in its own right, the band have wasted no time in cracking on with it and getting another single release in the bag with the announcement of the release of ‘Do The Right Thing’ which is out on the 27th January 2023.
The band also started 2023 by notably being named by Louder Than War as one of their hotly tipped ones to watch bands of 2023.
Jacoby have said of ‘Freedom Ain’t No Sin’
“This track was written around the time of lockdown. It was a weird time, people were losing their minds and we were all arguing with each other. The government was taking the piss towards the end. It wasn’t just Covid which inspired it though. The big Brexit blag plus all the controversy regarding social media which was highlighted in that Netflix documentary really showed how we’re all controlled and manipulated by those in powerful positions. The message of the song I guess is to try to keep your head amongst the madness.”
Musically the track is a smorgasbord melting pot of creative genius, withs its synth reverbs, electric guitars and direct lyricism, it’ll have you riled up and ready to go doing 0-60 in 5 seconds.
The next release ‘Do The Right Thing’ is a full throttle high octane belter of pure jangly melodic indie pop perfection. There’s a touch of nostalgia with the organ sounds and 60’s vibes throughout. The chorus hooks will have you singing along from the second listen as you rush back to hit that repeat button and get your groove on once more.
The band have said of the single:
“‘Do The Right Thing’ is all about breaking bad habits and stepping up to the plate. It’s a short life. Don’t be left behind sitting in the same shit pub having the same conversations that you were having 10 years ago. Be the best version of you, you can be.”
Both ‘Freedom Ain’t No Sin’ and ‘Do The RightThing’ were recorded at the world famous Rockfield Studios in Wales (Oasis, Iggy Pop, Black Sabbath, Queen and many more) and were produced by Tim Lewis who goes under the pseudonym of Thighpaulsandra.Lewis has worked with greats such as Spiritualized and Julian Cope and is currently part of Tim Burgess’ band, The Charlatans, as well as playing keys for the band Hawkwind amongst other things.
Both singles are taken from the band’s upcoming album ‘Shamanic Ecstasy’ which is due for release in May 2023.
