Formerly Misinformed Release New Single ‘Nine of Ten’

‘nine of ten’ is the second single this year from American band Formerly Misinformed following the incredible ‘Stop the Tape’, which was released back in July.

The track was written and produced by FM front man Brandon Green and features an incredible guitar solo from Dublin-based social media guitar sensation Ian Wardle, AKA Mr. Wardle. Ultimately, ‘nine of ten’ is a song about personal change and working on being a better version of one’s self. It’s a song about trying to prove it’s possible to change for the better, to someone else and to yourself. While daily routine can feel like a rut, it’s a reminder to embrace the small things along the way.

The band draw their influence from iconic bands such as Radiohead, Modest Mouse and The Flaming Lips, their music explores themes rooted in emotion, uncertainty, and everyday life…both observed and imagined.

The band are creatively at their best when weaving introspective lyrics against melodic guitars, piano, and atmospheric soundscapes. The freedom to explore and experiment without external pressures results in their distinctive sound, one that is honest and personal, yet still unique, giving them their distinctive sound.

Texas based band Formerly Misinformed are Brandon Green, his two sisters Erica Jones and Emily Henney, and their dad Terry Green.
