Tres Kings Release New Single ‘Antenna’

Following on from the success of the foot stomping, indie rock debut single SCUBA DIVER which received praise and plays from the likes of John Kennedy on Radio X, Abbie Mccarthy on BBC Introducing and the legendary Rodney Bingenheimer on Sirius XM in America, TRES KINGS have upped the ante once again with latest single ANTENNA

Quite simply put, ANTENNA is an anthem for the masses. Its pure infectious indie rock n roll at its absolute finest. The full throttle, no holds barred track is huge in terms of delivery and production with its unrelenting and unapologetic pounding, thrashing drums and funky bass licks coupled with front man Wez King’s powerful vocals acting like a call to arms for any self respecting music fan.

With lyrics like,

“We bring the sunshine, dry the rain, bring the love, people came, we’re make a move like we’re your Superman and save the day. We could be something, started from nothing, so pack your bags, board the plane, take us to the USA. Oh Yeah, Tell us what you want,  Oh Yeah, tell us what you need, coz I am the Antenna.”

The band’s intention is clear, they are the vessel for which great music is being radiated across the globe.

This is the start of the revolution so make sure you don’t get left behind and jump on board with TRES KINGS today!

The track was recorded at The Libertines HQ in Margate, The Albion Rooms, being engineered and mixed by award winning sound engineer Jason Stafford (The Libertines/Trampolene/Jamie T)  and mastered by Graham Waller.

Wez King is an accomplished singer/songwriter hailing from Maidstone in Kent. Following on from his earlier single releases of ‘M.H.’, ‘We Were Young’,‘Take It Or Leave It’ and ‘Mona Lisa’ which were all received to much critical acclaim from the likes of BBC radio and from John Kennedy on his Radio X  ‘X-Posure Show’ Wez King is now back with a much more gentler and emotive offering in ‘Clay’.

‘Clay’ is a strikingly beautiful track where Wez’s stunning vocals are really being allowed to shine and take centre stage. The instrumentals are paired back and twinkling in melody, really letting Wez’s vocal range take full effect, something which has been hinted at in previous releases, but never before shown to such a full degree. The track is also a lot more reflective, taking on a whole new dimension for this extremely talented singer/songwriter.

Wez  himself has said of the track:

Our new Single ‘Clay’ is our first take on a break up song with a touch of familiar charm and wit.”

Wez is no stranger to the music scene having previously been in a successful band, Tres Kings, before deciding to branch out as a solo artist. ‘Mona Lisa’ is an absolute banger of a track with its seductive storyline and sexy little backbeats. Vocally Wez is allowed to shine showcasing his adaptability as a musician, putting him right up there with such greats as Oasis and Arctic Monkeys. Wez King is a diamond in the rough on the brink of undoubted stardom. The track ebbs and flows along at a pleasurable pace taking the listener on a journey that climaxes in a hedonistic parting shot.
